Although born and raised in Southern California, I started my career in Charlotte, North Carolina 20 years ago as a Wardrobe Stylist doing commercials for various local production companies.  When I moved back to Southern California, I attended California State Univeristy of Long Beach and received a designation in Costuming for Film And TV.  It was here that I learned how to break down a script, create a budget, a continuity book and understand how to design in a way I had not understood before. Once graduating from this program, I went on to work as a set costumer for movies of the week, tv shows and eventually onto Costume Designing for Films.
